Job Description:

As part of the Central Finance team this role provides a tremendous learning opportunity to develop and enhance essential finance skills, while using the latest tools and technology and working with a diverse team.

The team collaborates with a variety of business partners including senior management, line finance and the strategy team to drive finance initiatives and deliverables across the firm. The candidate will develop deep expertise in financial planning and governance processes, executive support, management reporting, benchmarking as well as business metrics and KPIs. In addition, the candidate will have multiple opportunities to lead or contribute to critical short and long term finance initiatives.

A successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, ability to work independently on executive requests, creativity to develop insights and presentations on complex analysis for the senior team and the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.



The Role

  • Provide ongoing financial support and analysis for Asset Management organization
  • Support the planning process including multi-year plan, operating plan, budget and forecasts
  • Become an expert in the tools and systems used by the team
  • Assist in development of executive presentations for senior management to help inform decision making
  • Drive short and long term finance initiatives
  • Provide adhoc analysis and support as needed


The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of work experience, preferably in a product or financial analyst role
  • Experience working with Fidelity funds/institutional products preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with Finance and business partners at varying levels of the organization
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to envision the "big picture" while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and relevance and reliably meet deadlines
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn new skills
  • Energetic, demonstrates initiative and active teammate
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint) with experience in Anaplan, TBM, NGAV/Power BI
