Associate Attorney

Northern Colorado Springs/Monument Law Firm is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Attorney. We are seeking a friendly, client centric, team oriented, self-starter who has the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced estate and business planning law firm.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The attorney’s primary responsibility is meeting with clients for annual reviews and document signing appointments. The attorney will ensure that legal documents are appropriately drafted to meet the planning needs and recommendations for clients, including, but not limited to Health Care Directives, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Amendments, etc. This position works collaboratively with other associate attorneys and paralegals in completing legal work in a timely manner. We are looking for the right person to work alongside our team in an efficient, detail-oriented, and proactive manner. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a wide variety of Attorney functions with a focus on Estate Planning/ Business Planning/ Probate/ Trust Administration.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed attorney, in good standing by the Colorado State Bar
• Knowledge of income, gift and estate tax laws (preferable)
• 1-3 years minimum experience in Estate Planning (preferable or equivalent)
• Ability to work full time at our Monument office.
