Director of Distribution

We are looking for a Director of Warehouse Operations who serves as the site leader for our 600K square foot flagship distribution center in GA. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong desire for both the tactical and strategic functions of leadership and embody the "player-coach" mentality. Furthermore, the successful candidate will also execute high levels of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the site team is engaged, efficient, and provides excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:

•Oversee and manage successful execution of WMS system to provide optimization of warehouse operations.

•Develop, implement, and engage KPI's to improve facility efficiency and customer satisfaction.

•Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and control.

•Leads and manages internal and external labor relationships with key focus on engagement and retention of team members.

•Embodies strong level of leadership and remains invested in developing lower-level site leadership towards continuous operational improvement.

Essential skills and experience for this role include:

•Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent military experience

•8+ Years Experience managing a Distribution Center of similar size.

•Demonstrated experience managing complex projects including WMS transitions.

•Expert level of warehousing skills including facility layout, warehouse flow, and pick sequencing.

•Demonstrated experience in assessing and developing talent.

•Exceptional customer service skills including problem solving, verbal and written communication, and ability to prioritize critical events.

•Advanced level computer and analysis skills including WMS, ERPs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and standard web-based technologies.
