Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of advanced testing solutions for a variety of markets; they are searching for a Supplier Quality Engineer. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers meet quality requirements and that products meet customer expectations. You will work closely with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet quality requirements

- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality systems and processes

- Work with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues

- Implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurring

- Monitor supplier performance and track key quality metrics

- Lead supplier development initiatives to improve their quality performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality

- Participate in new product development activities to ensure supplier quality requirements are met

- Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality performance


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

- 1-2+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or related field (internship experience can be included)

- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools (RCA, 5 Whys, control plans, FMEA)

- Knowledge/exposure to ISO9001

- Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
