Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert consultation and guidance on complex processes and procedures to ensure operational reliability and efficiency. You will be responsible for conducting detailed calculations, analyzing costs, and making cost-effective recommendations. Root cause failure analysis will be a key aspect of your duties to identify and prevent equipment failures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house consulting services to advise and counsel personnel on intricate processes and procedures.
  • Analyze the impact of costs on proposed action plans and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis to proactively prevent breakdowns.
  • Plan and execute engineering research, design, and manufacturing/process engineering tasks, overseeing significant portions of complex projects.
  • Estimate engineering personnel needs and supervise engineers and technicians to ensure cost-effective reliability improvements.
  • Demonstrate originality and ingenuity in problem-solving and decision-making, with considerable autonomy in assignments.
  • Innovate new engineering methods, procedures, and equipment to enhance reliability.
  • Communicate advancements through detailed technical reports for use across Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations departments.
  • Adhere to company safety, health guidelines, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in conducting detailed calculations and root cause failure analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think innovatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
