Social Media Content Manager Job DescriptionOverview:

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Social Media Leadership:

  • Develop and execute innovative social media strategies to grow the brand’s presence and drive engagement.
  • Research and define target audiences to ensure content relevance and impact.
  • Own and embody the brand’s voice, tone, and aesthetics across all social media platforms.
  • Manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely publishing of content.
  • Leverage emerging technologies and tools to pioneer new marketing approaches and trends.

Content Creation & Storytelling:

  • Oversee the artistic content creation and publishing process across all channels.
  • Create visually stunning and compelling content, including photography, videography, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Develop content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and meet marketing goals.
  • Showcase the brand story through creative storytelling, product photography, and video capturing.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and merchandising teams to ideate and produce content aligned with brand goals.

Influencer Partnerships:

  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with the brand’s values and mission.
  • Identify new influencer opportunities to expand the brand’s reach and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Manage influencer campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring authenticity and impact.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor consumer and content analytics to track performance and engagement.
  • Generate reports and presentations to provide actionable insights and optimize strategies.
  • Use data to inform creative decisions and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Trendspotting & Innovation:

  • Keep up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
  • Experiment with new platforms, content formats, and tools to continually innovate and evolve.

General Operations:

  • Support general in-house operations duties to ensure smooth content production and execution.



Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in content creation, marketing, or social media management.
  • Proven experience in photography, video creation, and content strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and social media platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of creative work.
  • Ability to work in-office 3-4 days per week and contribute to general operations.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
