Senior Research Associate I - Pharmacology


Primary Duties

• Assist and lead in ongoing in vivo studies by providing hands-on technical support and performing assays.

• Produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations, mainly by running Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA)

• Perform a variety of laboratory research tasks, dependent on research study.

• Conduct in vitro experiments and collect supporting data

• Follow Standard Operating Practices (SOP) related to specific laboratory tasks/assays.

• Support conduct of analyses, analyzing scientific data, interpreting test results, and compiling results into assay or technical reports.


Other Responsibilities & Skills

• Keep detailed records of data and appropriately document experimental procedures and results according to established guidelines

• In vivo skills: animal handling (mice), IP, SC, IV dosing (mice), submandibular blood collection

• Assist in ordering of lab supplies.

• Must be capable of multi-tasking, working both independently and within a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to help develop solutions to complex problems and establish processes to continuously improve and streamline existing procedures

• Good organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities, to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and to meet challenging timelines

• Expertise in Excel, Prism, PowerPoint, Softmax, etc.


Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 3+ years of industry experience in pre-clinical or laboratory research, or a master’s degree with 1 – 3 years of work experience.

Compensation Title and pay commensurate with skills and experience, eligibility for company benefit plans.
