Position Overview:

• Analyze quotes, devise negotiation strategies, and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards to minimize costs.
• Research alternative suppliers for competitive bids.
• Thrive in fast-paced, autonomous environments, making timely decisions and adapting to changing assignments.
• Execute work systematically with limited oversight, emphasizing efficiency and organization.
• Foster partnerships with global suppliers, innovating to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage supplier negotiations for various issues, including damage claims and engineering changes.
• Provide production updates and coordinate deliveries to meet schedules.
• Facilitate training for procurement staff and ensure effective implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Maintain accuracy of purchasing data in ERP systems and support purchasing of indirect materials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve internal objectives and project completion.

Position Qualifications:

• Degree from a fully accredited college or university in a related field or at least five years directly applicable experience.
• Minimum of five years' experience in materials related field, preferably electronics as a Buyer or equivalent.
