Technical Writer

Our Client is seeking a Bilingual Technical Writer for a Direct Hire/FTE position in Flower Mound, TX. This is a hybrid position (onsite Tuesday and Thursday). This job pays $55-75K annually.

Responsibilities:

• Write and release FDS for more than one product line - in English and Spanish.
• Handle content creation in MadCap Flare, customer software documentation, translating documents and manuals.
• Offer suggestions to SMEs and engineers in English and Spanish on multiple product lines.
• Act as a liaison between the local Technical Writing team and the Guadalajara, Mexico office.
• Write and release Functional Design Specification (FDS).

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing with managing several projects at once.
• Proficient in MadCap Flare.
• Prior experience with systems logic and writing clarifying documentation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Multi-Tasking.
• Excellent Writing abilities – written, and verbalized in meetings.

Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
