Job Title: Chemist I

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45249

Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension

Shift: Day Shift (Flexible, but typically 8:00 – 4:30)


Summary

  • Evaluates the chemical properties of polymeric substances for a research and development facility.


Responsibilities

  • Sample & standard preparations, chemical extraction, GC and/or HPLC. Other Duties in other analytical areas may be assigned. Independently practices applying principles in discipline of competency. Demonstrates a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities, and implemented in work designed. Works under general supervision. Supports field assignments as required. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Qualification

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Associate degree or higher, or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of 1-4 year’s experience in the industry or in a related field or approval by the Program Director.
