Job Purpose:
The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in managing DRB Enterprises corporate cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and supporting the execution of financing strategies. This position demands strong financial expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration across departments. Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Finance, the Treasury Analyst will help address the organization’s financial management needs. Responsibilities include ensuring robust processes and controls for financial information preparation, minimizing operational risks, and assisting with cash forecasting, bank account administration, and various projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties and Responsibilities

Cash Management

  • Focus on maximizing the economic efficiency of the finance department by optimizing cash management and liquidity strategies to enhance overall financial performance and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to oversee corporate cash management, ensuring optimal liquidity and security.
  • Analyze and forecast daily/weekly cash flows to maintain efficient cash positioning and funding.

Debt/Loan Management

  • Assist in managing banking relationships and loan facilities vital to the company's operations, while supporting debt covenant reporting and ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly borrowing base and quarterly bank compliance certificates.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of SOFR on cash management strategies, interest rate exposures, and funding costs.
  • Manage draws and repayments on Company’s line of credit
  • Coordinate wire transfers and other bank transactions
  • Maintain and coordinate banking relationships to support corporate financial operations.
  • Collaborate with field personnel and banks to issue Letters of Credit and Bonds.
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly reconciliation processes for Letters of Credit and Bonds.
  • Open new bank accounts and determining the appropriate setup for each.
  • Manage processes for handling bank accounts and user access across various banking platforms.
  • Keep accurate records of active bank accounts and closing accounts as necessary.
  • Investigate issues and requests related to bank accounts.

Forecasting/Financial Reporting

  • Provide management with insights by compiling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing policies and procedures that will improve the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance Department.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Prepare supplementary reports and analysis for management
  • Other Duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Windows Office applications, high-level Excel user
  • Ability to generate spreadsheet models efficiently as needed with "what-if" scenarios
  • Strong analytical, planning organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to write and communicate complex information and procedures in an easily comprehensible manner
  • Frequent interaction with division financial leadership, other departments, as well as internal and external auditors

Education and Work Experience

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance combined with 3-5 years’ experience in Finance
  • Professional qualifications such as an MBA or similar will be considered a plus
  • Homebuilding, real estate, or land development experience is a plus.
