Role Description

This is an on-site role for a PRN Pre-Operative/Post-Operative Registered Nurse at Chapin Orthopedic Surgery Center located in Chapin, SC. As a PRN Pre-op/Post-op Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient care before and after surgical procedures. Your daily tasks will include assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.

Qualifications

Please ensure that you possess the following qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, intensive care or emergency room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, protocols, and patient care standards
• Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient education
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
