We are looking to add a Staff Accountant to the Durham - Chapel Hill - Raleigh Team of Full-Time Engagement Professionals.

  • possess solid communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • should possess conceptual knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • at least one year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with MS Excel (preferred experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
  • experience in public accounting is highly valued.

As a Staff Accountant your responsibilities will build from your prior experience/core competencies while developing tertiary and new skills. Project duties are likely to include:

  • statement preparation
  • and year-end close
  • ledger
  • journal entries
  • with client system implementations
