A typical day involves client communication, conducting negotiations, taking, and defending depositions, research and drafting, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial. This role handles cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict.

· Minimum of 3 years personal injury experience

· Licensed and in good standing with the state specific bar

· Must have experience with claim evaluation and client interaction

· Participate with support staff in all stages of a personal injury claim, including intake, demands, discovery, medical records, bills, damage charts, settlement memorandum, basic pleadings, initial filings, E-filings, etc.

· Preferred experience drafting and responding to motions

· Preferred knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

· Excellent legal research skills

· Familiarity with liens and healthcare reimbursements, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, state and municipal plans, and ERISA-qualified plans is a plus
