Our direct client is looking for a .Net Full Stack and Azure Developer for a 98% Remote Long term contract (Client in Harrisburg, PA).

Note: Position is majority remote. Candidate need to report IN PERSON to pick up equipment as part of onboarding and may be required to report for occasional in-person meetings or training.

Job Description:
- The eTransit Reporting system is a greenfield web application being built for PennDOT’s Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud.
- The application will allow easier communication between PennDOT, the Federal Department of Transit, and public transit agencies within Pennsylvania while enhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systems enhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025.
- Candidates will work under the direction of the project’s Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code to implement system features and enhancements.

Required: Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of responsiveness and mobile-first development
- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Solid principles
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion
- Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
- Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
- Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices
- Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android)
- Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards

Skill Matrix:
- .NET Core and C#, for building backend services and applications - Required
- ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications - Required
- SQL Server / T-SQL, recent experience with Azure SQL - Required
- APIs and Integration, RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture - Required
- Testing frameworks: XUnit/NUnit, Prefer: Jasmine and Karma - Required
- ORM, such as Entity framework and Dapper - Required
- Containerization: Prefer: Docker - Required
- Cloud services with implementation in .NET: Azure Function, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure container registry, Key Vault - Required
- Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap, Angular with recent experience with Angular 14 or greater - Required
- Tools: Visual Studio with recent experience in VS2022 and VS Code, Azure DevOps /Git - Required
- AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, PostegresSQL - Plus to have
- Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process. - Desired - Plus to have
- Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of “definition of done.- Plus to have

Question 1: This position is 40 hours per week. Is this understood?

Question 3: Work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm excluding state holidays for a maximum of 40 hours/week. Lunch is 12:00 – 12:30. The contract assumes an additional 80 hours of unpaid leave in addition to the above per state fiscal year. Are you fine with this?
