Company Description

A Real Home Away is one of the region's largest direct providers of furnished single-family homes. A Real Home Away has three lines of business:


  • Property management of fully-furnished single-family homes
  • Home furnishing services
  • Real estate purchasing/consulting for investors


We are currently in the Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Dallas/Fort Worth markets with approximately 80 properties. We are projecting to double in size and expand into two more states by the end of next year.


A Real Home Away specializes in assisting families and individuals in need of temporary housing due to a fire or flood, relocating for work, or simply seeking a comfortable place to call home during a transition period. We offer personalized service and attention to detail every step of the way to ensure our guests experience the comfort, convenience, and peace of mind that comes with choosing A Real Home Away for their temporary housing needs.


Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to partner with our CEO and owners to lead our property management company as President. The President will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our property management operations, including strategic planning, financial management, client relations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.


Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the property management market.
  2. Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Monitor financial performance and implement measures to improve profitability and efficiency.
  3. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, property owners, and tenants. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Operations Management: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team. Streamline processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Lead efforts to acquire new properties and expand our portfolio.
  6. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
  8. Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote our services and enhance our brand visibility in the market.
  9. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders including owners, investors, vendors and strategic partners. Communicate effectively to convey company vision, goals, and performance.
  10. Performance Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure company performance. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to achieve targets.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role with a successful track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills
