The Van Roy Coffee Co. is a Northeast Ohio based coffee roasting and tea wholesaler, serving fine dining establishments, restaurants, caterers, golf courses, offices and institutional establishments.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Coffee Roaster at The Van Roy Coffee Co. located in Cleveland, OH. As a Coffee Roaster, you will be responsible for roasting coffee beans to perfection, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the process. You will also manage inventory, conduct quality control inspections, and collaborate with the production team to optimize roasting techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Coffee Roaster or in a similar role preferred. However we will train the right person.
• Knowledge of different coffee bean origins, flavor profiles.
• Familiarity with coffee roasting equipment and machinery.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent sensory evaluation and tasting skills.
• Understanding of safety and sanitation guidelines in the food production industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Barista experience is a plus
• Strong passion for coffee and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
