Job Title: Release/Build Engineer (DevSecOps Engineer)

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Contract: 12+ months


Summary:

  • are seeking a skilled and motivated Release/Build Engineer (DevSecOps Engineer) to join our team and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Azure DevSecOps best practices.
  • ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure DevSecOps environments, with a focus on security, collaboration, automation, and performance optimization.
  • role requires a strong understanding of agile development methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.


Responsibilities:

  • implement, and maintain Azure DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development cycle.
  • with development, operations, and security teams to optimize and manage a healthy Azure DevSecOps environment.
  • security risk assessments and recommend mitigating measures.
  • and troubleshoot issues in Azure DevOps pipelines and resources.
  • and develop automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure.
  • DevSecOps processes and ensure the platform is up-to-date and properly maintained.
  • development methodologies and standards for systems design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support.

Required Skills:


  • degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • to work in the United States without sponsorship from the City of Jacksonville.
  • in Azure DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
  • with Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Pipelines, Repos, and Boards.
  • of DevSecOps best practices and security principles.
  • programming skills in .NET Core, SQL, Angular, Node.js, Visual Studio, and Bootstrap.
  • with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • problem-solving, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • to work independently on small projects and take directives from management efficiently.
  • for continuous learning and improvement.
