About Camp Sewataro: Camp Sewataro is a premier summer day camp located in Sudbury, Massachusetts. With over 50 acres of woodlands, fields, and waterfront, Camp Sewataro offers a wide range of activities for campers aged 3 to 16. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where campers can learn, grow, and create lifelong memories.

Position Summary: The Lead Challenge Course Instructor at Camp Sewataro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high ropes, low ropes, and zipline challenge course and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of campers and staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in challenge course operations, and a passion for outdoor adventure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18.
• Experience working in a camp or outdoor education setting, preferably as a challenge course instructor or facilitator.
• Strong technical skills in challenge course operations, including belaying, harnessing, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the camp program.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Camp Sewataro.

Schedule: This is a full-time, seasonal position with a commitment of approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Two summer evenings are required for special events.
