Seeking a highly skilled and innovative Audio Visual (AV) Architect with extensive experience in designing AV systems for global environments. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and design teams to create and implement advanced AV solutions across diverse international projects. You will be responsible for the architecture and integration of AV technologies tailored to meet the unique needs of each location, ensuring systems are scalable, high-performing, and consistent with global standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect advanced AV systems for a variety of global environments, including corporate offices, conference rooms, entertainment venues, and large-scale public spaces.
  • Lead the development and execution of AV solutions that seamlessly integrate with global IT infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and high performance across international sites.
  • Collaborate with global clients, project managers, and engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop customized AV solutions that align with both local and international business goals.
  • Develop and oversee AV system designs, including system layouts, signal flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and network configurations for global environments.
  • Select appropriate AV hardware, software, and network solutions based on project requirements, regional considerations, and budget constraints.
  • Ensure global consistency in AV designs while accommodating local regulations, cultural preferences, and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Oversee the integration of AV solutions with other systems (e.g., building automation, network infrastructure) to ensure seamless operation across multiple platforms, including cloud-based and networked AV solutions.
  • Manage the deployment of AV systems from design through installation, testing, and commissioning, collaborating with international teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Provide leadership and technical direction to cross-functional teams across multiple countries, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met.
  • Conduct site assessments globally, evaluating existing AV infrastructure and recommending upgrades or improvements based on current technology and regional needs.
  • Ensure all AV systems meet local and international regulatory standards, including safety protocols and environmental considerations.
  • Stay up to date with global trends in AV technology, emerging tools, and industry best practices to ensure the team is utilizing the latest advancements in AV design and implementation.
  • Troubleshoot complex AV system issues in a global context, providing timely solutions and technical support across various regions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience designing and architecting AV systems for global or multi-location environments.
  • Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and control systems, including advanced signal flow, integration techniques, and scalability for global implementation.
  • Experience with AV design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software to produce detailed system designs for global projects.
  • Expertise in global AV infrastructure, including AV over IP and cloud-based AV solutions, and experience integrating AV systems with global IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with international AV standards and regulations, including ANSI, ISO, IEEE, and local compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a global perspective, able to resolve complex issues remotely or on-site.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with global teams and clients, presenting technical concepts in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in handling large-scale, multi-location AV projects and ensuring the delivery of quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work effectively across different time zones and cultural contexts, ensuring smooth collaboration with international stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications from recognized AV industry organizations (e.g., AVIXA CTS, InfoComm, or similar).
  • Experience in designing and deploying advanced AV technologies for international markets, including immersive AV environments, video walls, and interactive installations.
  • Knowledge of global cybersecurity considerations for AV systems and network security best practices.
  • Experience with global AV project management, working with cross-functional teams, and understanding regional cultural nuances and infrastructure variations.
  • Familiarity with advanced AV automation systems, integration with smart building technologies, and cloud-based AV systems.
  • Experience with large-scale AV installations in international venues such as arenas, stadiums, or multinational conference centers.
