Overview:

We are seeking applicants to work on discrete projects related to recent acquisitions, integration activities, and contract management and analysis. Applicants should enjoy working on a small, but a highly collaborative legal team, learn and adapt quickly and can anticipate and initiate routine legal tasks.


This role is a great opportunity for someone with an attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to thrive in a changing environment that requires cross-functional collaboration across our legal and business teams. This position will be based out of our Newark office and will report to our Corporate Counsel.


Areas of Responsibility:

-Identify contractual requirements related to post-acquisition assignments, and track and manage client consent.

-Review and analyze client contracts to identify revenue-sharing arrangements and sources of content.

-Coordinate the generation and execution of contract amendments to remove third-party content from contracted products.

-Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with contractual obligations.

-Other general legal support as needed


Qualifications:

-Commercial and practical paralegal with 4+ years’ experience

-Experience at a large law firm or at a commercial corporate environment

-Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.

-Proven ability to manage multiple matters for a growing company and to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, product, security, and business and corporate development.

-Technology and/or healthcare experience preferred.


Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/relevant work experience

Paralegal certification from an ABA Accredited Paralegal program or equivalent.
