Client is seeking a candidate with strong experience in AWS and development roles, particularly in Java-based backend applications. The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Alpharetta, GA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver backend Java-based platform applications.
  • Architect and design systems using Microservices architecture.
  • Work with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Implement and maintain REST services.
  • Utilize NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Integrate messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, handling proof of concepts.
  • Use tools like Splunk, Grafana/Kibana, Git, Jira, Jenkins.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Development roles.
  • 6+ years of experience in application delivery, with expertise in backend Java-based applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in Microservices architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with proof of concept development.
  • Local candidates only, Alpharetta, GA.
  • Minimum 3 days per week in the office.
  • HackerRank testing is required.
