  SAP ABAP mid-level developer with at least 7-8 years of experience in designing and developing complex ABAP and ABAP Web Dynpro programs using custom objects, testing, and debugging functions of the SAP modules implemented. Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow is also required. In addition to the technical responsibilities, this individual will be responsible for working directly with the end user community to provide ongoing support and new initiatives, will work closely with project leaders and the business teams to design, develop, and support solutions that meet the business requirements.

  
  Pre-requisites

  • Should be a US citizen
  • Should have active Security Plus certification
  • Should have SAP certification in ABAP or NetWeaver

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Should have developed and created ABAP Programs using Dialog programs using table controls, ALV grid etc.
  • Should have developed and created application using ABAP Web Dynpro tools.
  • Should have developed and created SAP workflows.
  • Should have developed forms using SAP Adobe LiveCycle designer.
  • Should have developed applications using ABAP Objects
  • Should have developed ALV Reports using standard ABAP as well as Web Dynpro ABAP
  • Should have identifying and using Enhancement Spots
  • Should have used User Exits
  • Should have used Conversion tools and have knowledge of LSMW, BDC, LTMC
  • Knowledge of creating and using BADIs, BAPIs, RFCs and IDocs
  • ALE SOAP Protocol and web services
  • Knowledge of SAP Script and Smart Forms
  • Reviewing and submitting OSS notes
  • Worked with SAP Modules such as MM, IM, EWM, HR (OM, PM, TM, T&E, ESS/MSS),
  • Principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, and testing
  • Principles of program documentation
  • Principles of report, screen, and form design
  • Strong Analytical skills is a required asset
  • Good debugging skills
  • New trends in the field of information technology
  • Knowledge of ODATA is desirable.
  • Fiori Skillset is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP Archive Link and connection to external content repositories

  Responsibilities

  • Support upgrade related testing and code changes.
  • Support and assist helpdesk with any application and system related issues.
  • Code SAP programs and complex functions using ABAP programming language.
  • Create specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming language.
  • Troubleshoot and correct bugs using ABAP programming language.
  • Ability to search for notes/solutions in SAP OSS for core SAP issues and create tickets for SAP support.
  • Interface with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures.
  • Assist in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality.
  • Provide technical support to users on matters related to the SAP modules.
  • Prepare comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc.
  • Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with the customer, process owners, functional owners, helpdesk, end users, project consultants, and vendors.
  • Perform all project related duties as assigned.
  • Monitor interfaces and resolve any issues as needed.

  • Develop and code difficult and complex programs for SAP modules.

  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with administrators, staff, users, project consultants, and vendors.
