Position Type: Full-time


Salary Range: $20-$30 per hour (based on experience), with overtime at time and a half.


Job Description:

A profitable full service agricultural company, in Iowa, is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join their team as an Outside Operations Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a dynamic outdoor environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Operate spray rigs and other agricultural equipment with precision and efficiency.

• Work in the warehouse and/or shed as needed.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.

• Implement and adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and activities.


Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating agricultural equipment is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat (or willing to get), Commercial Applicators License (or willing to get), with a clean driving record.


Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to spend approximately 50% of working hours in a spray rig during peak seasons.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
