Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a talented attorney with 2-4 years of sophisticated law firm experience to join their Finance and Lending practice group in Houston. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of accomplished legal professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment


Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders in the planning, negotiation, documentation, and workout of loans. The position encompasses a diverse range of financial and real estate matters, including:

  • Syndicated credit facilities, participated credits, equipment loans, working capital loans, asset-based loans, loan sale transactions, and distressed real estate.
  • Commercial real estate financing, including acquisition, development, and construction of multifamily, office, retail, industrial, owner-occupied, single-tenant, mixed-use projects, and lot development.

Requirements:

  • Transactional Experience: Representing lenders in various financial and real estate transactions.
  • Legal Acumen: A strong academic record, preferably with formal education in Finance and/or Secured Transactions.
  • Work Ethic: A meticulous approach to legal documentation and transaction management.
  • Am Law 200 Experience: 2-4 years of sophisticated law firm experience, preferably with exposure to finance and lending.
