Charlottesville Direct Primary Care, located in the heart of downtown Charlottesville, and is looking to hire an additional Physician for the Practice. If you have been curious or ready to make the jump to DPC model, but would rather join a fully functioning practice, than navigate the effort/time needed to start one or run the business side...please reach out. I am the Founder/Owner/Doc for the past four years. I have a one year wait list, which I can hand over. Looking for Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians . As a valued member of the team, you will develop your own panel from the ground up, and determine your own ultimate goals as to number of patients, and therefore salary. DPC practices put the Doctor in charge...not insurance or management staff. This allows us much more time with patients, flexibility over our schedules, and freedom from the insurance based bondage (no more just checking boxes).


Responsibilities

Develop and create your own patient panel. Primary Care is the focus.


Qualifications

Welcome both D.O and M.D degrees. Residency and Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Two year minimum post residency desired, but not absolute for the right candidate. Special skills that would be helpful is doing joint injections and skin lesion biopsies. OMT is also highly sought after in with my patients.
