Summary

The main function of a logistics specialist is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. A typical logistics specialist is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide strong analytical understanding of data given.
  • Navigate through, update, and track various MS Excel spreadsheets concerning Consumer Electronic products (TV and Home Appliances: Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, Oven Range, etc.).
  • Provide analysis reports in a timely and appropriate manner (Monthly, weekly, and Ad hoc).
  • May be able to lift material up to 50 lbs.


Necessary Skills / Attributes

Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

Must be bilingual in Korean and English (written and verbal) as the incumbent will communicate with headquarters in Korea.

  • Strong MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills.
  • SAP and Tableau skills are preferred.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Ability to function in a team environment but also work independently, especially for daily operations and communications.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical (Electronics) work experience preferred but not required.
  • Good ethics and attitude.
  • Punctual and able to work in a result-driven environment.
  • Possible local trips for product inspection (TV/Home Appliances).
