Nuclear Design Authority Manager

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Design Authority Manager to join a federal client of ours in the Aiken, SC area. The individual will oversee the Design Engineering staff who provide oversite of Architect Engineering. They will be in charge of technical direction, design and documentation and implementation. They must have a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline and 15 years of experience with 5 years of management experience. These individuals will work in a nuclear facility. This position requires 40-hour work weeks in a format of 4/10s.
Required Skills and Experience *
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Field
- 15 years of nuclear or engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering management
- Eligible for Q clearance (active or previously held preferred)
- Experience preparing, monitoring, and reporting plans involving budgets, scheduled and technical guidance on complex engineering projects/problems.
- Comfortable performing field walk-ins to trouble shoot and restore function, document, and inspect
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Previous SRS/SRNS experience
- Active Q or L clearance
- Experience with NQA-1, commercial grade dedication etc
Compensation:
$150,000 to $185,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
