Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading shipbroking company looking to hire an experienced LNG shipbroker to join the commercial team in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and finalize charter party agreements between shipowners and charterers for the transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, and vessel availability to provide clients with accurate and timely insights.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Oversee the execution of charter agreements, addressing any contractual or operational issues that arise.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Steem1960’s market presence and client portfolio.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in LNG shipbroking or a related role within the shipping or energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of the LNG market, including shipping routes, freight rates, and vessel types.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively while meeting client needs.
• Ability to analyze market data and offer strategic recommendations to clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• To be located in Houston, Texas.
