We are seeking a passionate Founding Engineer with substantial AI/ML and LLM experience to help us develop a co-pilot for chip designers. This role is pivotal in transforming the chip design process, making it faster and more intuitive for the industry.

As a Founding Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to develop essential features for our AI-driven co-pilot, enabling engineers to build chips more effectively. You will collaborate closely with our customers to gather feedback, iterate on our product, and directly influence our roadmap. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that releases updates weekly, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and technical discussion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI models and infrastructure that serve 10+ chip/IP customers.
  • Make architectural decisions regarding core product features.
  • Translate user feedback into actionable product updates.
  • Contribute to planning the product roadmap and strategy alongside the founders.


Relevant Keywords:

In this role, you will utilize Python, C++, PyTorch, and work with traditional ML models, LLMs, and foundation models. Your experience in building ML pipelines and fine-tuning models will be crucial.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML and LLM principles.
  • Experience with ML pipeline construction and model benchmarking.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality code rapidly.
  • Ability to apply data-driven approaches to problem-solving.


Ideal Requirements:

  • Proven track record of shipping products using LLMs and foundation models.
  • Familiarity with AWS SageMaker.


Nice-to-Have Requirements:

  • Background in AI/ML-driven chip EDA software tools.
  • Experience with chip design, either in open-source or commercial settings.
