Job Title: Division Order Analyst

Location: Downtown Houston, TX (2 days remote per week - Monday and Friday)

Schedule: 9/80 schedule

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Division Order Analyst to join a dynamic Land team. In this role, you will oversee a specific geographical area and manage division orders, including creating and maintaining ownership decks, ensuring accuracy in royalty payments, and analyzing legal documents such as title opinions, contracts, and operating agreements. The role involves collaboration with Land and Accounting departments to ensure the proper distribution of revenues, resolving title issues, and maintaining division of interests in compliance with state statutes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain record title ownership division of interest for both billing and revenue in Enertia Land System.
  • Ensure timely and accurate royalty payments in accordance with state laws.
  • Analyze title opinions, land contracts, operating agreements, oil and gas leases, and other legal documents to determine ownership and lease burden relationships.
  • Collaborate with Land staff to resolve title issues and clear title.
  • Process probate information and transfer documents from interest owners.
  • Conduct routine audits and support SOX compliance related to suspense funds.
  • Manage mass changes in the Enertia Land System for legal document transfers.
  • Respond to inquiries from mineral owners, title attorneys, and third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of experience as a Division Order Analyst.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enertia Land System.
  • Familiarity with state and federal leases.
