Our client, a global e-commerce company, is looking for a Content Strategist specializing in service environments for a 40-hour/week remote contract through December. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences through strategic content planning and implementation. Your focus will encompass various facets of content creation, from developing help pages and conversational help bots to crafting self-guided experiences and seamlessly guiding users to customer service when necessary. Central to your responsibilities will be the development of scalable content strategies, the establishment of efficient content processes, and the design of comprehensive content architectures. Experience with Oracle KM will be highly advantageous in this role, enabling you to leverage its capabilities to optimize content management and delivery.


This is a 40-hour/week remote contract working any US time zone through December 2024 with the possibility for extension.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored to enhance customer experiences across self-service, guided assistance, and customer support channels.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify content needs, align strategies with business objectives, and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Plan and implement content at scale, leveraging automation and technology solutions where applicable to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Establish content design processes and workflows to support the creation, review, and deployment of content assets across various platforms and channels.
  • Define and optimize content architectures to improve discoverability, usability, and relevance of information for users.
  • Oversee content localization efforts, ensuring cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy, and adherence to regional preferences and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to iterate and refine content strategies continuously.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to content team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in content development.


Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of proven experience in content strategy, preferably within a service environment, with a strong understanding of customer journey mapping and user-centric design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable content strategies, processes, and architectures to support complex service ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), knowledge management platforms, and related tools, with experience in Oracle KM being highly desirable.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience in leveraging data and insights to inform content decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Familiarity with localization best practices and experience working with diverse global audiences and markets.
