Position: CNC Associate – Level 1

CNC Associates play a crucial role in the overall machining process at Norwood Medical. Their attention to detail, collaboration with team members, and commitment to safety contribute to the smooth and efficient operation and manufacture of our life saving components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • as part of a team to ensure efficient and accurate loading of materials into CNC Machines
  • that workpieces are securely fastened/clamped and in place utilizing pneumatic hand tools to prevent movement during machining.
  • opportunities to streamline the loading process for increased efficiency.
  • downtime by ensuring quick and accurate machine loading between production runs.
  • records related to quantities loaded for production tracking.
  • visual inspections of raw materials and finished workpieces to identify any defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies.
  • with leaders and team members to report any deviations from expected quality or working conditions.
  • basic cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area.
  • safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • school diploma or equivalent
  • attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
