Our client in the hospitality industry has an immediate need for a Sr. Social Media Art Director with social media content development and design experience. You will join a collaborative creative team to concept, ideate and create social-first content for organic and paid including campaigns, GIFs, illustrations, sizzles, animations, teasers, videos reels, captions, UGC, and snackable/fun behind the scenes content for platforms like Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, owning the entire creative process from concept to execution. The Sr. Social Media Art Director will have a thorough understanding of branding and is a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities, a keen eye for design, and a passion for pushing boundaries. This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite Tuesday - Thursday in Fort Lauderdale, FL.


Responsibilities:


  • Concept, layout and produce organic and paid social media campaigns and projects.
  • Develop, produce and edit tailored, dynamic and creative video, social media content, graphics, and static images for social media platforms including Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Work to ensure content aligns with the brand's messaging and aesthetic across all channels.
  • Manage relationships with content creators while providing creative direction to meet the brand's needs.
  • Art direct photo and video shoots for social media content.
  • Develop brand guidelines and standards to ensure cohesive and impactful brand representation.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Play a key role in maintaining consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Make critical decisions about visual content to ensure project success.
  • Oversee social media designers and editors.


Required Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of art direction and design experience stemming from ad agency preferred.
  • Skilled in creating social-first content including GIFs, illustrations, sizzles, animations, teasers, and videos.
  • Experience concepting, designing, and executing for social media campaigns, Instagram stories, and projects.
  • Strong background in social media content development including shooting and editing video content.
  • Exceptional design and conceptual skills; strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Photo / video shoot art direction skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate others, foster creativity, and drive results.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Audition).
  • Portfolio of work that showcases social media campaign samples and reels.
  • Stay abreast of creative trends and emerging technology in the digital and social media space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field (advertising, graphic design, visual arts, etc.)
