Job Summary:

We are hiring a System Administrator to lead our enterprise information technology initiatives, support our internal users, and implement information technology best practices in support of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Systems Administrator is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:

  • Own the Azure Active directory and user maintenance process (creating, updating, terminating, etc.).
  • Manage the mobile device program, process, and vendors.
  • Execute tasks associated with internal applications like Office365, Exchange, Entra, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop solutions to IT needs.
  • Assist in the monitoring and resolution of alerts and tickets.
  • Assist in networking and security projects as assigned.
  • Maintain premise access credentialing process and security.
  • Ensure a cohesive ecosystem exists for in-office and remote users

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field / equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience working in IT operations.
  • Experience with adherence to documentation policies.
  • Understanding of Remote Monitoring and Management systems.
  • Robust and proven knowledge of computer systems, security, network administration, databases and data storage systems, and IP Phone systems.
  • Ability to think critically and make effective decisions.
  • Current knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and best practices.
  • Microsoft cloud environment administration including Entra ID, Exchange, Sharepoint, Intune, and Security Center.
  • Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine, Network, and Storage Administration.
  • Active Directory Management.
  • Windows Server Administration.
  • Linux Server Administration (SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • VMWare ESXi/vCenter Administration.
  • Network Services Administration (DNS, DHCP, NTP, RADIUS, SNMP).
