We’re looking for an exceptional Software Technical Lead to support the scale and complexity of our client's growing charging infrastructure, and to architect and build the product. You’ll report directly to our VP of Engineering, get hands-on with the code, and assist the efforts of other engineers along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead important architectural discussions and make key design decisions.
  • Solve complex challenges by developing scalable and dependable tools and systems.
  • Utilize your expertise in coding, architecture, research, decision-making, and process development.
  • Influence both overarching strategy and specific technical choices across our technology stack.
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to a dynamic team of software engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Tech Lead, Principal, or Staff Engineering role.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects through the entire development lifecycle, particularly in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in crafting high-quality, thoroughly-tested code.
  • Strong practical experience in API design and distributed computing.
  • Self-motivated and capable of self-direction.
  • Possess a high level of empathy.
  • Deeply committed to fostering a healthy team culture and promoting collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the electric vehicle infrastructure charging ecosystem.
  • Extensive background in developing APIs using Spring.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL, RDBMS, or alternative data storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of OCPP, OCPI, or other charging infrastructure protocols.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines implementation.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and Amazon Web Services.
  • Exposure to DynamoDB, Redis, and MongoDB.
