Phoenix, United States Spetrum Dynamics Research Full time

Responsibilities:

Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to create new flavor-infused products with desired aroma profiles.Research and experiment with various terpenes, botanical extracts, and flavor compounds to identify novel flavor combinations and formulations. Develop prototypes and conduct sensory evaluations to assess flavor, aroma, mouthfeel, and overall consumer acceptance of products. Stay informed about regulations and guidelines governing products, including labeling requirements, ingredient restrictions, and safety standards.

Formulation and Flavor Optimization: Design formulations for flavor-infused products to enhance flavor stability, shelf life, and sensory characteristics while maintaining product consistency and quality.

Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and scientific advancements in flavor science, terpene chemistry, and sensory analysis. Collaborate with research institutions, universities, and industry partners to conduct research studies and explore new techniques for flavor enhancement and product innovation.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to align flavor development strategies with business objectives and market trends. Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and external partners on flavor-related matters.

Quality Control and Assurance: Establish quality control protocols to ensure consistency and uniformity of flavor profiles across different batches and production facilities. Conduct sensory evaluations and analytical tests to assess the sensory attributes, chemical composition, and potency of products.Identify and troubleshoot flavor-related issues and implement corrective actions to address deviations from desired standards.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of flavor formulations, sensory evaluations, and analytical data. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders, including management, regulatory agencies, and customers.
