Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

Type: 6+ Month Contract

Location: Downtown Chicago, IL (hybrid)

Additional notes: This is a hybrid role that is looking for a local candidate willing to come onsite once a week.


Responsibilities: This individual will be designing and implementing components to be used in frontend web applications and implementing pages and layouts per a supplied design comp. Additional responsibilities may be adding interactivity and animations to pages and making data connections from backend to frontend as required through data providers (web services, database, localization files, etc). This person will work directly with stakeholders and/or other teams to define requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years’ experience working on client facing full stack applications
  • Recent project experience with CSS, Nodejs and JavaScript with Nextjs for framework on server and client side
  • Excellent knowledge of responsive design and concepts
  • Above average understanding of REST API’s and underlying concepts
  • Comfortable working in and reading other people’s code
  • Ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions and familiarity with object-oriented concept
  • Prior experience working on a localized, multi-language website preferred
