We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this 6-month contract role, you will play a crucial role in documenting our 401k plan and upcoming contract administration processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various business units to extract key information and data related to the 401k plan and contract administration processes.
  • Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for both internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to established style guides and formatting standards.
  • Utilize strong interviewing and research skills to effectively gather information from subject matter experts.
  • Review existing documentation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all written materials.
  • Provide writing samples that demonstrate your ability to clearly and accurately document complex information.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
  • Proven ability to extract technical information from subject matter experts and translate it into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus.
