Education Requirement
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
Safety oriented Accurately documents mail group names, mail sequence numbers and mail pieces. Inspects mail pieces for deficiencies and log issues into quality control logs. Correctly matches mail tray tags in numerical sequence with USPS trays. Feeds, aligns, and adjusts mail inserter equipment to efficiently run production jobs. Investigates, troubleshoots and corrects mail inserter and printer problems, such as hardware malfunctions. Promptly escalates mail inserter and printer problems to technicians, if unable to solve issues. Monitors quality, unloads machine at completion of production, cleans up workstation and prepares for the following day''s work. Sort and organize work assignments and printed documents.Required Skills/Attributes
High School Diploma or Equivalent General skillsets with operating commercial size machines /equipment Experience working in a production or warehouse environment Basic mathematical skillsets, with ability to use a calculator. Excellent communication skills and organization skills, and attention to detail Able to safely lift 25 pounds, stand for long period of times as well as performance various warehouse related activities Exhibits good teamwork orientation, work ethic and punctual Open minded/ flexible/willingness to learn new jobs/tasksDesired Skills/Attributes
Mail Operator experience
Warehouse experience
Certified electric Pallet Jack and forklift driver
