Must live within 90Miles from Downtown Cincinnati, OH / W-2 Only $38.00 - $47.00/hr

Hybrid Role and must be able to work 3x days a week in Downtown Cincinnati, OH 45202

CBTS is Searching for an Oracle DBA. This is a junior DBA with only 2-3 years enterprise Oracle DBA experience. The Database Administrator (DBA) handles multifunctional database projects. The DBA administers development/test databases. The DBA is primarily responsible for performing many related database functions across one or more teams. This may include designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. The DBA is able to install database management systems (DBMS); related software tools and has a working knowledge of operating systems. The DBA is also able to submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment
• 2+ years of SQL programming and performance tuning
• 2+ years of Backup/Recovery
• 2+ years shell scripting (Linux/Unix)
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (OCI, AWS, Azure)

Preferred Skills:

• US Citizenship Required Willingness to undergo future background check/clearance processes if needed.
