System/Cloud Engineer



Responsibilities:


Migrate multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to company cloud

Implement new workload/service using the company's private cloud.

Support requirements gathering for migration/implementation

Test and implement cloud-based services to support ongoing cloud migration

Develop and maintain secure and reliable cloud infrastructure (backup, monitoring, and secure logging)

Provide support for security policies and procedures

Develop and maintain technical documentation

Troubleshoot technical issues


Requirements/Qualifications:


At least 5 years of experience in the field of cloud computing

Experience with onsite to cloud migration assessment and implementation

Worked and hands-on experience in cloud migration and a multi-cloud environment

Worked on data/DB migration

Knowledge of cloud computing technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with networking, compute infrastructure such as servers, database, firewall, load balance

Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning and understand architecture principles across infrastructure platform

Hands-on experience with administrator on variety of Linux/Windows systems

Hands-on experience with cluster configuration (Windows, Linux)

Must have OS/DB level trouble-shooting skill

Experience with information security practices and procedures

Documentation skills using MS Office products.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time to meet client needs



Pay range is $45-$50 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
