Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures the overall health of the E2E forecasting suite of applications.
  2. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
  3. Manage code migrations, ensuring source control policies are being followed.
  4. Applies application maintenance releases, upgrades and hot fixes as required
  5. Designs, implements, and maintains platform security including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Exadata /Oracle.
  6. Work on Proof of Concepts to test new technologies.
  7. Work on Devops tools like BitBucket, Jenkins, JFrog artifactory, Ansible Tower and XL Release to enable
  8. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  9. Manages UNIX access, directory setup and required archival mechanisms.
  10. Coordinate with infrastructure support team for outages/upgrades.
  11. Performs platform capacity planning and management’s
  12. Serves as an escalation point for escalated production and/or platform issues.
  13. Create documentation of the infrastructure and operations of the platform


Required Skills:

  • Strong Core Java and Unix scripting
  • Devops tools like BitBucket, Ansible, XL Release, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory
  • Strong programing knowledge in Java, Python, Shell-scripting
  • Solid understanding of application infrastructure on both cloud based and non-cloud.
  • Core Application framework/library implementations
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD setup and implementations
