Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • This role is specific to IT Engineering within Infrastructure. Types of projects are hardware and O/S upgrades, service delivery management, storage, servers, backup and recovery, etc.
  • Manage multiple medium to complex projects with internal and external partners and teams. These projects may impact multiple business units and functions and are time critical to the organization.
  • Collaborate with all levels of management including executives, business, and operational departments regarding project scope and deliverables (outcomes). Understand the intended outcomes of the project and ensure the outcomes are realistic and measurable.
  • Collaborate with the team to define the scope and who is responsible for delivering work and when it will be delivered. This includes deliverables required to complete all of the project work, cross-functional resource assignments, estimates of effort to complete project deliverables resulting in work plans, iterations and release plans with schedules and dependencies between team members and tasks.
  • Develop roadmaps and track dependencies for planning purposes.
  • Facilitate change management including backlog maintenance, change of requirements and/or prioritization of scope and tasks as well as updates to release and work plans.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to internal sponsors, team members, external partners, and business and technical stakeholders


Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years' appropriate work experience in project, program, technical project management role.
  • Experience with MS Project (Planner), M365, Aha, AzureDevOps or Jira preferred
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred
  • Experience working in an Infrastructure Technology organization preferred
  • Proven experience with SDLC, waterfall and agile methodologies preferred
  • PMP, CAPM, or CSM is preferred
