Senior General Liability Defense Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, personal injury, and general liability defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to general liability defense

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
  • At least 7 years of experience in general litigation and insurance defense
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals
  • Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases
  • Experience with general liability defense, personal injury, and insurance defense
