Kitchen Staff will assist with daily food preparation, cooking, plating, dish organization, restocking, and general kitchen operations.
This position works closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and according to restaurant standards. Responsibilities Prepare and portion ingredients for daily service Assist with preparation and cooking of Japanese and other menu items Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portion standards Assemble and plate dishes accurately and consistently Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized Properly store and label food and ingredients Restock ingredients and supplies as needed Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness throughout service, including keeping prep areas organized Communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service Assist other kitchen team members when needed Help ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by management Preferred Experience Previous restaurant or kitchen experience Experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Food Handler Card is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Qualifications Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team-oriented and willing to help others Able to follow directions and take feedback Good communication skills Able to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen environment Able to lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as scheduled What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, clean, and eager to learn .

Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay:From $18.42 per hour
