Data Architect

As a data architect, you'll be a key member to the overall IT organization and be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of robust data architecture solutions.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics highly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 2 years in data architecture
  • Proven experience delivering complex
  • Able to gather and understand business requirements, translate them into scalable data solutions, and ensure the integrity, availability, and security of their data assets
  • Experience designing and implementing data solutions like MDMs, EDW, Data lakes in a cloud environment preferably on Azure
  • Proven expertise in data modeling, database design, and database management systems
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques
  • Good communication and interpersonal experience


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with the business goals and objectives
  • Design scalable and efficient data models, ensuring optimal performance and flexibility
  • Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enforce data standards and best practices
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of database management systems
  • Provide expertise in relational and non-relational databases, optimizing performance and ensuring data accessibility
  • Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions, ensuring seamless flow of information across the organization
  • Collaborate with ETL developers to create efficient and scalable data pipelines
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide guidance on data-related matters
