Role title: Sr. PowerApps Developer

Location: - Fairfax, VA (Hybrid)


Job Description

Requirement:

  • Strong experience with Government Cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, including the use of lookup lists and site content types.
  • Familiarity with replacing or migrating existing workflows and forms (e.g., Nintex Forms) to Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to design dynamic, user-friendly applications tailored to business requirements.
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and services into PowerApps.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and gather requirements.
  • Experience in creating secure and compliant applications within a government or regulated environment.


Job Duties:

  • Develop a robust PowerApps application to replace and decommission existing Nintex Forms workflows.
  • Design the application to support multiple data capture processes, such as:
  • Hiring.
  • Promotions.
  • Other customizable workflows as needed.
  • Implement dynamic, context-sensitive data elements that adapt based on user inputs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current workflows and translate them into efficient Power Platform solutions.
  • Utilize SharePoint Online features, such as lookup lists and site content types, to enhance data organization and usability.
  • Ensure the application is optimized for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Integrate Power Automate to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of the application to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide documentation and training for end-users to support adoption and utilization of the new application.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and best practices in application design and data handling.
  • Offer ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
