Production Planner

Job Store Staffing is seeking a Production Planner for a client in the Centennial, CO area. The production planner is expected to be an expert in IQMS. They will be responsible for projecting production needs, investigating ways to reduce costs, investigating ways to increase productivity, and training new staff on the IQMS system. This is a direct-hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-330pm with expected overtime

Pay: $35- $42/hr Relocation Assistance is offered for the right candidate

Job Duties of the Production Planner:

· Plan, schedule and coordinate production of customer’s products

· Evaluate raw material inventory and equipment availability/suitability to ensure production success

· Review BOM’s (Bills of Manufacture) to ensure accuracy and coordinate with Engineering to update BOMs as required

· Report production output, status and issues to management

· Work collaboratively with the production team to handle production disruptions and productivity problems

· Investigate ways to improve productivity and reduce costs

· Quickly determine alternate scheduling when problems come up

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of production reporting in IQMS system

· Train and monitor PMT employees in the proper use of IQMS

Requirements of the Production Planner:

· 5+ years of manufacturing experience

· IQMS experience

· Knowledge of production processes and quality control

· Math and analytical skills

· Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees

· Organizational and time-management skills

· Deadline driven

· Coaching skills with the ability to motivate employees

· Strong computer-based skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
