About Company:

We are a leading manufacturing company looking for an experienced Director of IT to lead our team and facilitate the efficient use of our technology infrastructure. The candidate must have experience in the manufacturing industry and ideally SAP experience as well.

Job Description:

As our Director of IT, you will manage a team of 6, comprising SAP Developers, a Network Administrator, a Systems Administrator, and a Help Desk. Your focus will revolve around developing strategy as it relates to the company's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems), operations, and establishing policies for the technology department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to business goals.

2. Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the strategy set by upper management.

3. Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

4. Collaborate with other executives from different departments to align technology systems with business strategies.

5. Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.

6. Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.

7. Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as Director of IT in a manufacturing industry.

2. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or Relevant Experience.

3. Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.

4. Superior knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.

5. Proficient in SAP environment.

6. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

7. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

8. Good problem-solving abilities.

9. Ability to work onsite in Fairhaven, MA five days a week.
